Synthesis of some new pyrazole and isoxazole derivatives

Novel 6-(4-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-yl)-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one (4) and 6-(4-phenyl-isoxazol-3-yl)-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one (5) derivativeswere prepared starting from2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3-(4H)-one (1) through the intermediacy of (2) and (3) were identified as possible COX-2 inhibitors.
