Synthesis Of Ethylene Glycol Bis(2-Formylphenoxy) Derivatives

A new types of ethylene glycol bis (2-formylphenoxy) derivatives have been developed in two simple steps from reaction of 2-hydroxy benzaldehyde (2) with tetraethylene glycol dibromide (1) gave the compounds (3a-c) in good yield.
