Synthesis and characterization of nano lead (II) oxide sulfate by coordination polymer as precursor

A lead (II) coordination polymer [Pb(bpy)(SCN)2]n (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectroscopy. The nano lead (II) oxide sulfate Pb2(SO4)O was synthesized by calcination of Pb (II) coordination polymer at 450 °C which was characterized by x-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM).
