The development of polymer blends, composites and laminates is of great economic importance for the plastics industryand for other industrieswhere the use of such products is becoming increasingly common. Advancedpolymermodificationtechniqueshavegrown in importance during the last two decades as the “point ofdiminishingreturns” has been approached in improving the performance/price balance by altering just the chemical structures of polymers
