Improved Synthesis of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydrocarbazoles under ultrasonic irradiation

Synthesis of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydrocarbazoles fromcyclohexanone with a series of phenylhydrazines is carried out in excellent yields with 1:3 glacial acetic acid :trifluoroacetic acid as catalyst via Fischer –indolization reactions under ultrasonic irradiation method.
