A sensitive differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetric method for the determination of oxabetrinilwith universal buffer solutionwas described. Themethodwas based on the adsorptive accumulation of oxabetrinil atHanging Mercury Drop Electrode (HMDE). The cyclic voltammograms demonstrate the adsorption of this compound at the mercury electrode. A systematic study of various operational parameters that affect the stripping response was carried out by DP-AdSV with accumulation potential of-1.0V and ccumulation time 60 sec. Fromthe calibrationmethod, it is observed that the peak current shows a trend found to be linear over the concentration range 1.0 x 10-8Mto 1.0 x 10-5 for with lower detection limit 0.99 x 10-7M. Relative standard deviation and correlation coefficient were found to be 0.97% and 0.996 for oxabetrinil.
