Characterization and thermoelectric properties of NaxCo2O4 by the polymerized complex method

The thermoelectric oxideNaxCo2O4was synthesized by the polymerized complexmethod andwas characterized byXRD, TEM, FE-SEM, and EDS. Itwas found that the calcined powder showed a -NaxCo2O4 phase without any impurity phase while the sintered pellet detected the Na2CO3, Na2O, and Co3O4 phases. However, these products are the polycrystalline hexagonal, the same average particle size andmorphology of the layer structure, several samples are agglomerated and each particle is flaky, and the sodium contents of the samples are more than 1.5.Moreover, the thermoelectric properties show the high Seebeck coefficient, the low electrical resistivity, and the large power factor.
